A Pack of Lies - Jenny Seagrove interview
Jennifer Ann Seagrove was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1957. Her father ran an import-export business and her mother was a British aristocrat. She also has a younger brother. By the age of nine, Jenny was at boarding school in England where she acted in sch

Following her portrayal of heroine Laura Fairlie in TV's The Woman in White (1982) she achieved fame both in Britain and America as the younger version of Deborah Kerr's character Emma Harte in Barbara Taylor Bradford's mini-series A Woman of Substance (1984) which achieved Channel 4's highest ever viewing figures of 13.8 million. Jenny later starred as Paula Fairley in the sequel Hold the Dream (1986) with Deborah Kerr again in the role of Emma Harte.

I went to Nottingham's Theatre Royal in March 2009 to see the play Pack of Lies which starred Jenny Seagrove. I waited at the stage door afterwards and Jenny soon emerged with her two lovely dogs which go everywhere with her.
I told her how much I had enjoyed the play and she signed my programme & two photographs. She then let me have my photograph taken with her.
